1. Oxygenation and Root Respiration

It’s a common misconception that roots only need water. Roots need to breathe.

  • The Problem: In compacted or oversaturated soil, water displaces the oxygen pockets. Without oxygen, roots literally suffocate.
  • The Solution: Proper drainage ensures that after a heavy Florida rain, the water moves through the soil, pulling fresh oxygen down into the root zone behind it.

2. Precise Nutrient Delivery

Palms are "heavy feeders" that require specific minerals like Magnesium, Manganese, and Potassium.
