Podocarpus (Podocarpus macrophyllus) — Sub-Tropical
The "Formal Screen"—Our most durable and cold-hardy hedge option. Naturally upright and narrow, perfect for property lines.

Weather & Freeze Tolerance
Podocarpus can handle temperatures as low as 15°F. It's hardy in Florida and stays green in cold weather. The plant becomes most cold-tolerant after its roots are fully grown, about 6-12 months with proper care. Until then, it’s more at risk during heavy freezes. I’ll show you simple ways to protect your plant during its first winter, so it becomes more cold-resistant over time.
Clusia / Pitch Apple (Clusia rosea) — Sub-Tropical
The "Living Wall"—Known for its thick, leathery, teardrop-shaped leaves that create a dense evergreen barrier.

The "Tropical Resort"—Lush, bushy, feathery fronds that create a soft, swaying screen for a Caribbean feel.
