KJ Tropical Palm, owned by Jason Markesteyn, has been built on his hands-on experience and passion for tropical and subtropical palms and garden plants since 2010
Jason, a Florida native born in Orlando, began his journey by owning and operating a retail palm and plant nursery, working closely with Palm trees and garden plants and the people who purchased them. Over time, his work expanded into palm trees and garden plant installations for commercial projects, along with commercial landscape maintenance throughout Florida.
During his journey, Jason gained expertise in irrigation systems, landscape lighting, stump grinding, and tree services, equipping him with an in-depth understanding of how to design and maintain lively tropical, sub-tropical, and garden plants.
Today, KJ Tropical Palm functions as a service-oriented company. We do not have a physical retail store for walk-in customers. Instead, our emphasis is on delivery and professional installation, enabling us to offer tailored services and ensure that every palm tree and garden plants are chosen and installed specifically for your property.
While commercial projects provided valuable experience, Jason’s heart has always been in working directly with homeowners—helping create outdoor spaces that feel welcoming, natural, and truly suited to Florida’s climate.
